Week 24 from the 2025/26 CBE Ethiopian Premier League saw Sidama Coffee extend their lead at the top of the standings while Hawassa Ketema fell to Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. Negelle Arsi’s winless run persisted while Ethiopian Coffee, Ethio Electric, Bahir Dar Ketema and Wolwalo Adigrat University registered big wins.
Sidama Coffee bounced back from their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Wolayta Dicha in the last round as they swept aside Midere Genet Shire 2-0. The South Ethiopian side scored twice in the second half to take home all three points. Birhanu Bekele headed home from close range to open the scoring before new signing Abel Yalew doubled the lead with a tap-in for the routine victory.

A Dawit Gebru first-half strike was the only difference as Wolwalo Adigrat University defeated Dire Dawa Ketema 1-0. The win gave the Yellows a lifeline as they are now out of the relegation zone.
