St. George forward Getaneh Kebede to travel to India for surgery 

St. George forward, Getaneh Kebede is set to travel to India for a knee injury he has sustained, the club has announced. Geteneh scored the lone goal for the Horsemen in week 17 of Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) match against Adama City. Getaneh has scored three goals for the Horsemen this season.

Getaneh transferred from Dedebit FC to St. George with an undisclosed fee. The current Ethiopian national team striker was also the top goal scorer with 25 goals in the 2017/18 EPL season.

St. George has collected 29 points, playing 18 games and is placed fourth.
